While perusing the proverbial shelves of youtube, I stumbled upon this interview on the Jason Ellis Show. It’s only in audio clip but trust me, it’s extremely entertaining. Former champ Forrest Griffin discusses his loss to Anderson Silva with a hilarious and yet bone chilling narrative. Once professional athletes reach a certain level, weird questions begin to arise about their ability to satisfy certain expectations. Urijah “The California Kid” Faber is no exception these days. Since his dominant reign in the WEC he rocketed to stardom. His first fight with former UFC lightweight champ Jens “Lil Evil” Pulver was touted as the biggest Featherweight bout in MMA history at the time. I believe it still is

Does Chris “The All-American” Weidman deserve a title shot? Comparatively to some fighters who fought Anderson “The Spider” Silva in the past, he definitely could make a strong argument for his position. Now that UFC 148 has left us with another nostalgic moment in the beloved sport of MMA, let’s take a look at what was memorable, and what may be in our future. Silva vs. Sonnen 2 definitely lived up to the hype. I think it’s amazing how Silva has lost every round against Sonnen in their two fights except for the moments Silva finished him. I could see another fight
