Jon Jones fought Ovince Saint Preux to a decision win at UFC 197 to become the Interim UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. He will next get the chance at defeating Daniel Cormier against at UFC 200.
2) Demetrious Johnson (2)
In a quick victory, Demetrious Johnson defended his title against Henry Cejudo at UFC 197 on April 23rd. He will now be defending his title against Wilson Reis at UFC 201: Lawler vs. Woodley on July 30th in Atlanta, GA.
3) Luke Rockhold (7)
Luke Rockhold will be defending his title at UFC 199 against Michael Bisping at the Forum in Los Angeles, CA. Original opponent Chris Weidman had to bow out due to an injury, but allowing for the Bisping rematch.
4) Dominick Cruz (8)
At UFC 199, Dominick Cruz will defend his title against Urijah Faber to complete their trilogy rubber match.
5) Daniel Cormier (5)
Daniel Cormier will defend his title against Jon Jones at UFC 200 in a rematch of their UFC 182 Jon victory. It is on the burden of Cormier to prove that the first match was a fluke or that Jones is indeed the superior fighter.
6) Robbie Lawler (3)
Following a long layoff, Robbie Lawler will be defending his title at UFC 201 in against Tyron Woodley.
7) Rafael dos Anjos (4)
Rafael dos Anjos will be defending his title against Eddie Alvarez at UFC Fight Night: dos Anjos vs. Alvarez. The event will be the first of three UFC events taking place during the UFC International Fight Week 2016.
