Due to inactivity, Barb Honchak is ineligible for the rankings. Also previous rankings are listed in parenthesis:

Top 10 Women’s P4P Fighters (1/2/16)

1) Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino (1)

Cristiane Justino again defended her title, this time against Daria Ibragimova at Invicta FC 15 on Saturday, January 16th in Costa Mesa, California at the OC Fairgrounds. She’s still willing to face Holly Holm at catchweight.

2) Holly Holm (2)

After some confusion, Holly Holm will be defending her title against Miesha Tate at UFC 197 on March 5th. This is a match both women want as Holm wants to keep busy and Tate believes she’s earned her title shot at the belt.

3) Ronda Rousey (3)

Ronda Rousey is currently filming the remake of the Roadhouse and as a result her comeback has been delayed. She has flip flopped between not being certain and saying she wants to face Holly Holm for a title rematch.

4) Joanna Jedrzejczyk (4)

Supposedly Joanna Jedrzejczyk will coach opposite Claudia Gadelha this next season of The Ultimate Fighter. Season 23 will consist of light heavyweight men and strawweight women and will begin airing in April.

5) Miesha Tate (5)

Frustration has finally been dispelled for Miesha Tate as she now gets the next title shot against Holly Holm for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship at UFC 197 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

6) Claudia Gadelha (6)

Claudia Gadelha will get her rematch with Joanna Jedrzejczyk following their coaching stint on The Ultimate Fighter 23. This is ironic considering Gadelha passed participating in season 20 because of weight cutting issues.

7) Michelle Waterson (7)

‘The Karate Hottie’ Michelle Waterson doesn’t have a date set for her return but has the potential to be the next bit UFC star. However, there is the problem that she’s facing sometimes much larger opponents at strawweight.

8) Alexis Davis (8)

Alexis Davis will be taking time off while she is essentially on maternity leave but is still rank eligible. It’s hard to see how her time off will affect her momentum considering she’s just coming off a win against Sarah Kaufman.

9) Marloes Coenen (9)

Bellator’s reintroduction of women’s MMA has been weird and as a result Marloes Coenen‘s been sidelined. Her last match was against Arlene Blencowe at Bellator 141 on August 28th. Hopefully she fights for a title in 2016.

10) Ayaka Hamasaki (10)

Ayaka Hamasaki hasn’t fought since Invicta FC 13 and has no opponents listed when she defends her title next.
